This makes it possible to transfer the dispensing material without substrate contact. The dispensing material is applied by a dispensing valve with the necessary energy for the process and formed into a jet or dots(Dynamic Dot Dispensing). Dispensing volumes of up to 0.5 nl can be achieved with spot diameters of up to 0.2 mm [1]. This significantly reduces process times compared to conventional needle dispensing.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">The non-contact adhesive application can also reduce accompanying process steps such as inspection of substrate heights or Z-axis movements, which has a positive influence on the process time.
